ALBANY, William F. McMahon, 78 died peacefully Thursday March 10, 2016 at home. Born in Albany Bill was a life long resident. He was formerly employed by the State of New York. Bill’s passions were Siena Basketball, The Albany River Rats and the Albany Devils. Mr. McMahon was pre deceased by his parents, William and Doris (Schultz) McMahon and his sister Judith Sheehy. William is survived by his loving cousin Janice Gardner and her husband Bob of Florida. Also survived by his Nephew John (Barbara) Sheehy and his great niece Mattingly Sheehy. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning 9:30 at the Historic Church of St. Mary’s in downtown Albany. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the Magin & Keegan Funeral Home, 891 Madison Ave., Tuesday evening form 4 to 6 p.m. Interment St. Agnes Cemetery.
