History & Staff

We have years of experience caring for families, from all walks of life. Each family comes to us because they know we are leaders in our profession, dedicated to excellence in service, and have the highest integrity.

Our History

The Magin & Keegan Funeral Home was founded in 1956 by Eugene F. “Chuck” Keegan and Frederick “Skip” Magin.   After Fred Magin's passing in 1977, Chuck's wife Sally joined the firm.  While Sally's passing in September of 1999 was a difficult time for the Keegan family, it reaffirmed their dedication to provide care and compassion to all families during their time of need.

Chuck Keegan’s son John, joined the firm in 1988 followed by his twin brother Jim in 1996.  Located in the Pine Hills section of Albany, near the College of St. Rose, the Funeral Home has undergone many addtions and upgrades throughout the years to provide you and your family  a comfortable and caring atmosphere.
